Lady Bucs win 2-of-3

Bowling Green was victorious over Adams County Christian School, but lost to Silliman Institute in games held last week.
The Lady Buccaneers defeated Adams County Christian School, 9-2, in a road game held Thursday.
Cassidy Spears and Dixie Camaille had big games in Thursday’s 13-hit contest.
Spears went 2-for-4 with a homer, double, three runs scored and she drove in three runs.
Camaille posted two hits that included a homer, two RBIs and two runs scored.
Madelyn Burch posted two hits and a run batted in.
Kylee Burris had two hits.
Anna Claire Crowe put up a hit and a run batted in.
Landry Dupont, Morgan Lusk, Katherine Burris and Julia Berggen all had one hit.
Burch threw 4-2/3 innings and tallied 13 strikeouts.
Kylee Burris pitched the final 2-1/3 innings and put up three strikeouts.
The day before, Bowling Green lost to 2018 Class AAA runner up Silliman, 15-3, in six innings at home.
Dupont, Camaille and Hannah Varnado all posted one hit.
Spears, Lusk and Burch all drove in one run.
The game against Silliman was originally scheduled for the day before, but was postponed because of rain.
On Monday, Bowling Green came back to defeat Silliman, 6-3, on the road.
The Lady Buccaneers trailed 3-0 after Silliman scored three runs in the second inning.
Bowling Green scored four runs in the fourth to take the lead and never looked back and recorded 12 hits.
Spears had a big day, missing the cycle by only a triple.
Spears went 3-for-5 with a 3-run homer, a double, three RBIs and a run scored.
Kylee Burris tallied two hits and two runs batted in.
Burch had a pair of hits.
Dupont had a hit, a run scored and she walked twice.
KaKa Seal posted a hit, two runs scored and an RBI.
Camaille, Lusk and Crowe all had a hit.
Burch threw a complete game, allowing two earned runs on five hits with 13 strikeouts and five walks.
Bowling Green played yesterday. The Lady Buccaneers are back in action Friday with a road game against Centreville Academy.
