Bowling Green head coach Gary “Boomer” Nunez has resigned his coaching position at BG to pursue another opportunity. Coach Nunez brought the 0-10 team to a first round playoff this past season.
Principal Beverly Young stated “Coach Boomer helped bring back the excitement of football at BG. She and the BG community wishes him and his family great success.”
Taking over the reins will be Coach Riley Boudreaux. He has been the offensive and line coach.
We are thrilled that Coach Riley will continue the strong dedicated program that has been established.
The Bucs will play Friday night at home in a scrimmage against ACCS at 6 p.m.
