Tru Archery Team members successful in championships

TRU Archery Team competes on both state and national levels and have won numerous awards this year. Team members placed well in Louisiana and Mississippi Archery Shooters Association State Competitions.
The Louisiana State Championships took place July 5-6 at Cenla Bowbenders in Pollock. The Mississippi titles were held on July 20-21 at Central Mississippi Archery in Jackson.
Our team members are coach Stephen Chatman, coach Bart Beaver, Alex Milazzo, Richard Boudreaux, Austin Forbes, Andrew Taylor and Jeremy Bryant.
Bart Beaver placed second in the LA ASA State Championship as well as won the Shooter of the Year in Open C.
Alex Milazzo of Ascension Christian High School placed second in Shooter of the Year at the LA ASA State Championship.
Richard Boudreaux, a student at Pine High School, placed second in High School Open at the LA ASA State Championship in High School Pins.
Austin Forbes, Andrew Taylor and Jeremy Bryant comprise the Bowling Green School Archery Team.
Forbes is the State Champion in High School Pins for Louisiana and Mississippi as well as Shooter of the Year in Louisiana.
Andrew Taylor is the Middle School Pins LA State Champion as well as Shooter of the Year in Louisiana. Jeremy Bryant took second place in Middle School Pins State Champion and second for Shooter of the Year in Louisiana as well as State Champion in Mississippi.
Several team members are heading to Metropolis, Ill. this weekend to compete in the National ASA Championship.
