Franklinton’s Demons traveled to Metairie to face Riverdale in the teams’ spring games at Joe Yenni Stadium on Thursday, May 16.
The teams ran series of plays with the first and second stringers before capping it off with a pair of 10-minute periods.
“I thought physically, we dominated,” Franklinton coach Jonathan Barber said. “We were the stronger team. We had a lot of success offensively and defensively. We ran the ball extremely well. Our passing game and our secondary are not quite where we need them to be, but we’ll improve those during 7-on-7s this summer.”
The Demons won the series of plays 14-6 and the timed portion, 7-0.
