Mt. Hermon’s Williams is a 2nd-team all-district player

Mt. Hermon School had a player make second-team all-district for the 7-B league.
Tevin Williams is a second-team all-district player for the Yellow Jackets.
Two more Mt. Hermon players are all-district honorable mention players.
Travell Brumfield and Michquel Spears are all-district honorable mention players.
This season, Mt. Hermon reached the playoffs as the 27th-seeded team, but lost to sixth-seeded and quarterfinalist J.S. Clark Leadership Academy, 73-53, in the bi-district round.
Crescent City Christian School’s Byron Joshua is the league’s Most Valuable Player and his coach Shaun Dumas is the Coach of the Year.
This season, Crescent City was the No. 2 seed and state runner-up in Division V after a 56-45 loss to top-seeded Jehovah-Jireh in the state title game.
The rest of the first team includes Crescent City teammates Jordan Ferrrell and Aideen Dailet, along with Runnels’ Cade Tate and Holden’s Cole Forbes.
Besides Williams, the rest of the second-team includes Crescent City teammates Trey Wilburn and Glen Rhone, Runnels’ Griffen Kennedy and Holden’s Dylan Gueldner.
Besides Brumfield and Spears, the rest of the honorable mention all-district players are Runnels’ Colen Gates, Holden’s John Sharp, Maurepas’ Tyler Anderson and Kenner Discovery Health Science teammates Jorge Martinez and Antonio McKendall.
Runnels made the semifinals of the Division V postseason as the third-seeded team, but lost to Crescent City, 65-44.
Holden was the No. 13 team in the Class B postseason, but lost to fourth-seeded and semifinalist Weston, 41-28.
Maurepas was the No. 29 team in the Class B playoffs, but lost to Weston, 66-33.
Kenner Discovery Health Science was No. 26, but lost in the opening round to seventh-seeded and quarterfinalist Pitkin, 73-64.
