The Bogalusa Little League Girls’ Softball Opener is taking place on Sunday, April 28, at Avenue U Ballpark.
The day starts with a parade that gathers at 2 p.m. and leaves at about 2:15 p.m. starting at Michael Herrington Baseball Park.
The route is the same as the T-ball and baseball openers that were held earlier this month.
A pregame ceremony begins at 3 p.m. and games will follow.
