Pine’s Tanner McKenzie was victorious in the Northshore Golf League at Franklinton Country Club on Monday.
McKenzie posted a 38 for the nine holes and won by three over St. Thomas Aquinas’ Tim Tran, who was runner up.
Doyle teammates Thomas Hodges, Luke Jones and Garrett Jones occupied third through fifth places with scores of 44, 48 and 51 respectively.
Two schools qualified for team honors, as four golfers were needed for team honors.
Pine won with 210 and St. Thomas Aquinas was second at 218.
Three females competed.
St. Thomas Aquinas’ Abby Portranent won with a 54.
Pine’s Brooklyn Thomas and Deniqua Hewitt were second and third with a 61 and 63 respectively.
Two golfers were needed for team honors.
Pine was the only team that qualified. The Lady Raiders combined for a 124.
