Bowling Green goes 3-0 over Columbia Academy

Bowling Green School was victorious over Columbia Academy in three District 4-AAA games that took place Tuesday and Wednesday.
Tuesday’s contest was a 12-6 road victory.
Cameron Bell had a solid game, going 4-for-4 with a double, three runs batted in and two runs scored.
Casey Burge posted two singled, two RBIs and a run scored.
Reese Dillon and Mitchell Lott each singled, scored a run and drove one home.
Cade Knight and Drew Wagner both had a hit and two runs scored.
Denzel Evans and Sammy Phelps scored a run each and Hunter Wilkinson posted an RBI.
Timmy Ruffino was the winning pitcher.
Wednesday was a doubleheader and Bowling Green won both games 13-3 and 15-5.
Wagner had a big game in the 13-3 contest that lasted six innings. Wagner went 4-for-5 with a double, three RBIs and a run scored.
Ruffino posted two hits, including a double, two RBIs and three runs scored.
Evans hit a home run, drove in two runs and scored two runs.
Knight singled, drove in a run and scored a run.
Ben Hicks singled and scored a run.
Phelps singled.
Bell scored three runs while Dillon and Bradley Davidson tallied one run each.
Burge threw a complete game, allowing one earned run on six hits with five strikeouts and two walks.
Burge doubled, drove in four runs and scored three runs.
Wagner doubled, posted three RBIs and scored two runs.
Evans singled, had an RBI and a run scored.
Lott posted two hits that included a double, an RBI and a run scored.
Dillon singled and tallied two runs batted in.
Wilkinson doubled and posted an RBI.
Bell and Knight tallied three runs while Ruffino scored two runs.
