Ben’s Ford’s Stewart wins the 800 meters in meet held Wednesday

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s track team competed Wednesday, April 3 at the Prentiss Invitational Meet.
Competing in the meet were Sylva Bay Academy, Prentiss Christian School, Jefferson Davis High School, Rebul Academy and a homeschool team from Laurel, Miss.
Bailey Stewart won the 800-meters with a time of three minutes. Stewart also won the 800 in the McDonald Relays at Silliman Institute earlier in the season. At the Prentiss meet, Stewart finished third in the triple jump and 100.
Makenna Magee finished second in the high jump. Magee won the high jump at the McDonald Relays earlier in the season.
Alston Moore finished second in the 100 with a time of 11.99 seconds, second in the 200 with a time of 24.23 and second in the discus with a throw of 104 feet.
Tucker Keating finished second in the 110 hurdles with a time of 19.11.
John Robert Holston finished third in the 400.
Alaina McClelland finished fifth in the high jump and fourth in the 100.
Austin Stogner finished fifth in the shot put.
The Ben’s Ford girls 4×200 relay team of Alaina McClelland, Dani Descant, Allie Jacobs and Bailey Stewart finished second. The same group of girls finished third in the 4×100.
Ben’s Ford Christian School will be competing next at the District 4AA Meet held at Silliman Institute on Thursday, April 18.
