Mt. Hermon victorious over Crescent City twice this week in league play

Mt. Hermon’s Yellow Jackets defeated Crescent City, 23-6 and 17-0, in District 7-B games held Monday and Wednesday.
In Monday’s road game that was 23-6, Colby Smith got the win and had a big day at the plate. Smith went 4-for-5 with three doubles, six runs batted in and four runs scored.
Byron Hyatt posted three hits, a walk, two runs scored and two RBIs.
Trey Brumfield had two hits, including a double, a walk, two runs scored, two runs batted in and he stole two bases.
Mt. Hermon won Wednesday’s home game, 17-0, in five innings.
Travell Brumfield threw a complete game two-hitter with 11 strikeouts and three walks. Brumfield also helped himself at the plate, going 2-for-2 with two walks, two RBIs and four runs scored.
Tevin Williams tallied two hits, including a triple, four RBIs, two runs and a walk.
