Lady Eagles compete in meet on Wednesday

Ben’s Ford Christian School competed in the Presbyterian Christian School Invitational that took place Wednesday.
Makenna Magee recorded a fifth-place finish in the high jump after clearing the 4-foot bar. Presbyterian Christian School’s Ryleigh Borbash won at 4-6.
Bailey Stewart took eighth in the triple jump with a distance of 25-4.5. Wayne Academy’s Ashton Stanley won at 34-3.
Ben’s Ford’s Dani Descant and Magee were 12th and 19th in the discus respectively with throws of 57-7 and 46-6. Wayne Academy’s Taylor Pittman won with a distance of 85-0.
Alaina McClelland recorded an 18th-place finish for the long jump. Hillcrest Christian School’s Aaliyah Dixon jumped 17-1 to win.
Shae Lee and Allie Jacobs were 23rd and 25th in the shot put with distances of 21-3.5 and 19-6. Purvis High School’s Jaylen Bass won at 34-1.
Presbyterian Christian School won the team competition with 75 points, as 15 teams scored at least one point.
Hillcrest Christian School and Wayne Academy tied for second with 54 points each, followed by Magee High School’s 22 and Pisgah High School’s 18.
Ben’s Ford Christian School tied Forest County AHS with one.
