Franklinton’s Lady Demons jumped out to a 9-2 lead through four innings and then hung on to defeat Northlake Christian School, 11-9, after the Lady Wolverines scored four in the fifth and three in the seventh on Friday at FHS.
Aleigha Fussell hit a home run and doubled, as part of a 2-for-4 day that also included two runs batted in and a run scored.
Fussell’s homer was one of two hit by the Lady Demons.
Ashlan Ard had the other. She drove in a run and scored a pair of runs.
Bailey Spears singled twice, scored a run and had an RBI.
Missouri Varnado singled twice, scored two runs and drove home a run.
Brylie Fowler singled and drove in a run.
Ashlyn Welch tripled, scored two runs and drove home a run.
Bailey Brooks singled and scored two runs.
