Bogalusa’s Lady Jacks were victorious over Independence, 23-8, in four innings to begin 2019 at the fields by the Bogalusa Airport on Tuesday.
Skyler Keys and Myrion Mark each recorded a hit.
Keys was the winning pitcher.
Bogalusa coaxed 16 walks in the victory.
Bogalusa trailed 1-0 after a half of an inning. The Lady Jacks scored two in the first and seven runs in each of the next three frames.
Independence posted six in the third and one in the fourth.
