Lady Bucs’ season ends in Class AAA Tourney on Tuesday

Bowling Green School’s Lady Buccaneers’ season came to an end Tuesday in the first round of the Class AAA Tournament, with a 64-34 loss to Leake Academy at Leake Academy.
Callie Seal posted 17 points to lead Bowling Green. Seal was 7-of-12 from the field. Seal made three 3-pointers, grabbed four rebounds and made a steal.
Kyley Seals recorded nine points, three boards and a steal.
Bailey Duvall posted six points that included a 3-pointer to go with one rebound and a steal.
KaKa Seal had two points and a steal.
Allie Schilling pulled down a rebound and made a steal while Allie McCain had a board and a steal and Sophie Nobles tallied a rebound.
The Lady Buccaneers had no seniors this year.
“I think we had a successful season,” Bowling Green coach Barry Seal said. “I just think we’re a year out from where we want to be. The offseason will help our growth and improvement for next season.”
