Several Bogalusa athletes headed to state indoor meet

Several Bogalusa track-and-field athletes and a relay team are headed to the 2019 State Indoor Track Meet.
Clydeterrious Thompson qualified for state in three individual events.
Thompson reached state in the long jump, the 60 meters and the 400 meters.
Several more Lumberjacks reached state in one event.
Haikem Thompson is also going to state for the long jump.
Dre’Toris Mark is competing in the 60-meter hurdles.
Donald Lewis made it in the 800 meters.
Dustin Wager is headed to state for the 1,600-meter run.
The school’s 4×800 relay team also made it to state.
Bogalusa’s relay team features Wager, Lewis, Haikem Thompson and Mark.
The 2019 Indoor State Track Meet will take place at the Carl Maddox Fieldhouse on the campus of LSU on Saturday, Feb. 16. The field events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and the track events are set for 2 p.m.
