Softball jamboree takes place at Franklinton

Washington Parish softball fans will be headed to Franklinton on Friday, as four local teams compete in the 2019 Washington Parish Softball Jamboree.
Games begin every 75 minutes and will be either three innings or one hour.
Competition gets under way at 3:30 p.m., with Franklinton playing against Pine.
They are followed by Mt. Hermon and Bogalusa with Pine and Bogalusa going against each other at 6 p.m.
The final match up, which starts at 7:15 p.m., has Franklinton facing Mt. Hermon.
Last season, Franklinton made it to the regional round of the Class 4A playoffs last season while Pine and Mt. Hermon reached the bi-district round of the Class 2A and Class B postseasons, respectively.
