Mt. Hermon School’s Lady Jackets finished as the runner-up in the Class 7-B Tournament that took place at Holden last week.
Mt. Hermon captured a 33-23 victory over Maurepas on Feb. 5.
Kalei Hughes scored 19 points to lead the Lady Jackets. Hughes made four 3-pointers.
Sikoya Jackson posted six points while Bailey Fortenberry and Macey Applegate added four each. Fortenberry made a 3-pointer.
The Lady Jackets were defeated by defending Class B state champion Holden, 57-29, in the title game on Friday.
Hughes led the Yellow Jackets with 13 points. She made a 3-pointer.
Destiny Lewis recorded six points while Applegate had four, Sydnei Tullos posted three, Fortenberry tallied two and Adriana Tate added one. Tullos made a 3-pointer.
