Varnado’s Wildcats suffered a 61-38 loss to Amite in a road game that took place Wednesday.
Jaheim Hooks led Varnado with 14 points. He made a pair of 3-pointers.
Kim McGowan posted eight points while Javon Bickham, Kevis Brooks, Elizah Miller and Brandon Lee all had four. McGowan made two 3-pointers.
