Lady Eagles fall to Lamar, bounce back to beat Salem

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles went 1-1 in a pair of road games that took place Tuesday and Thursday.
Ben’s Ford lost to Lamar Christian School, 56-15, in a district game on the road Tuesday.
Alaina McClelland tallied six points and three rebounds.
Celeste Crowe posted four points, four boards, an assist, a steal and she blocked a shot.
Kelci Freeman had three points, three rebounds, three assists and a steal.
Valerie Paige tallied two points, two boards and a steal.
Bailey Stewart recorded two rebounds, a steal and she blocked a shot while Abby Smith, Sylvia Rosa and Allie Jacobs pulled down a rebound each.
Two days later, Ben’s Ford was victorious over Salem, 44-23, in non-district action.
McClelland led the team in points with 13 to go with two rebounds, an assist and two steals.
Paige filled up the stat sheet, posting 12 points, seven boards, two assists, three steals and she blocked a shot.
Crowe missed a double-double by just a field goal with eight points and 10 boards along with an assist and three steals.
Smith recorded three points, two rebounds and a quartet of steals.
Stewart had two points, three rebounds, two assists and she made eight steals and blocked a shot.
Freeman tallied two points, six boards, three assists and four steals.
Karly McGee put up two points, two boards and an assist.
Jacobs had two points and two boards.
Baileigh Crain had three boards while Kimberly Stogner grabbed a rebound and made two steals and Rosa pulled down a board.
