Mt. Hermon’s Yellow Jackets were defeated by Runnels, 89-46, in their District 7-B opener that was held Friday on the road.
Tevin Williams led Mt. Hermon with 14 points.
Michquel Spears posted eight points while Nate Womack and Jeremy Bickham tallied six each, Keondre Bunch recorded five points, Travell Brumfield had four and Tristan Brumfield added three. Spears and Womack each made a pair of 3-pointers while Bunch made one.
