Franklinton’s Cole Colletti scored what proved to be the winning goal and Jayden Ard added a pair of goals in a 4-3 District 6-II contest at home Friday.
Justyn posted a goal for the Demons.
Franklinton took a 2-0 lead, but Salmen scored a goal to make it 2-1 at halftime. Salmen added two more to go up 3-2.
Franklinton tied the game and Colletti tallied the go-ahead goal that proved to be the winner with about seven minutes left.
Franklinton coach Nate Murray said it was an emotional game and a team effort. He also credited the fans with staying in the game.
