Lady Eagles tally 1-1 record in last week’s Amite School Center Tourney

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles went 1-1 in the 2018 Amite School Center Basketball Tournament that took place Dec. 27-29.
The Lady Eagles played games on the first and third day of the event.
On Dec. 27, Ben’s Ford lost to Copiah Education Foundation, 49-28.
Alaina McClelland recorded nine points, four rebounds and a steal.
Kelci Freeman had seven points, four boards and a steal.
Valerie Paige put up five points, grabbed 12 rebounds and made two steals.
Bailey Stewart tallied five points, eight rebounds and a steal.
Celeste Crowe posted a point, five boards and a steal.
Dani Descant had one points and four rebounds.
Ben’s Ford rebounded from the loss two days later by topping Central Private School, 45-41, as Crowe led the way with a double-double.
Crowe posted 17 points and 11 rebounds to go with an assist and three steals.
Abby Smith had 11 points, four boards, two assists and four steals.
Freeman recorded eight points, two assists and three steals.
Paige posted six points, two boards, two assists and she made two steals.
McClelland scored three points and grabbed seven rebounds.
Stewart added three rebounds, two assists and a pair of steals.
