Bowling Green splits games in tournament

Bowling Green School’s Buccaneers split a pair of games in the Presbyterian Christmas Tournament that took place Dec. 27-28.
The opener was a 57-48 loss to Lamar Christian School.
Jackson Dobraska led the Buccaneers with 19 points.
Jace Schexnider posted nine points while Braden Edwards and Matthew Downs posted six each, Nathan Jenkins had five and Rece Dillon added three. Schexnider made two 3-pointers while Jenkins and Dillon had one each.
The next day, Bowling Green was victorious over Sacred Heart, 68-47.
Dobraska had another solid game, this time going for 24 points. Dobraska also made a 3-pointer.
Dobraska was one of four Buccaneers to score in double figures.
Dillon posted 16 points and was good on one 3-pointer.
Jenkins posted 12 points.
Schexnider had 11 points that included a pair of 3-pointers.
Edwards posted three points and Sammy Phelps added two in the Buccaneers’ victory.
