Ben’s Ford comes up short in pair 2 tournament games

Ben’s Ford Christian School lost a pair of close games in the 2018 Amite School Center Basketball Tournament that was held Dec. 27-29.
The Eagles played in the first and final day of the event.
Ben’s Ford came up short in the first game, 62-56, to Copiah Educational Foundation.
Tyler Winstead had big games in both contests.
Against Copiah, he scored 23 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, dished out two assists, made a steal and blocked two shots.
Dalton Crain tallied 12 points, four rebounds and two steals.
Isaac Wascom posted 11 points, two rebounds, an assist and three steals.
Tucker Keating recorded six points, five boards and he made eight steals.
A.J. Exkano put up two points, five rebounds and a steal.
John Robert Holston added two points for the Eagles.
Last Saturday, Ben’s Ford was topped by Central Private School, 49-44.
Winstead had another big game. This time, he went for 30 points and 17 rebounds to go with a pair of steals.
Crain posted six points, two rebounds, two assists and a trio of steals.
Keating had four points, seven boards and five steals.
Wascom posted two points, three rebounds, an assist and two steals.
Alston Moore scored two points, grabbed a rebound, made a steal and he blocked a shot.
Chase Penton pulled down five boards, dished out an assist and made two steals while Holston had a rebound and a steal.
