Lady Demons continue solid play with home victory over Woodlawn

Franklinton’s Lady Demons were victorious over Woodlawn of Baton Rouge, 2-0, in a home game on Monday.
Kassidy Nielson scored both of the Lady Demons’ goals.
Ashlan Ard recorded eight saves in net.
This was the Lady Demons’ second shutout this season. Besides the shutouts, Franklinton has allowed one goal in every game except one. The lone exception was a 7-2 loss to Woodlawn of Baton Rouge back on Nov. 30.
Franklinton is 8-1 this season and has won four in a row.
The Lady Demons next game is on the road against Hammond on Wednesday, Jan. 9.
