Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Jarrett Williams

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Jarrett Williams is a three-sport athlete. Williams, a senior, plays several sports including basketball, football, baseball, track and field and he is on Ben’s Ford fishing team.

“I love Jarrett,” Ben’s Ford Christian School basketball coach Landon Tims said. “Jarrett, he’s the epitome of a team player. As far as basketball goes, he’s always working to get better and he’s always ready when his number is called. He’s a great student, great kid. I love him to death.”

What do you like most about playing your sports?
I just like being able to run around and play. God gave me the athleticism — why not use it?

What do you like best about being a student athlete?
I don’t know, it’s hard trying to keep up my grades, playing sports, but probably being able to say I can do both. I’ve been able to keep up grades pretty good.

Who has been the most influential person in your school sports career? Why?
My dad (Chucky Williams). He just pushes me to try and get better.

Who is your favorite athlete? Why?
New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees because he’s short and he still tries to play. I mean, he set records.

Favorite team?

Best thing about living in Washington Parish?
The people. It’s small. You know most everyone.
