Bogalusa tallies 1-1 record earlier this week

Bogalusa’s Lumberjacks went 1-1 in games held earlier this week.
On Monday, Bogalusa defeated Mt. Hermon, 65-52, on the road.
Chance Turner led the team with 18 points. DaJuan Powell and Josh Taylor posted 14 each.
T.J. Peyton had eight while Shad Gamble recorded four, Raheem Roberts tallied three and Quientay Henry and John Downey added two each in the victory.
Tevin Williams posted 18 points to lead Mt. Hermon.
Michquel Spears recorded 12 points.
Triatan Brumfield had eight while Jeremy Bickham posted six and Kee’Yontrech Williams put up three. Williams made a 3-pointer.
The next day, Bogalusa suffered a 76-36 loss to KIPP Booker T. Washington on the road.
Peyton led the Lumberjacks with nine points.
Powell and Karry Conerly posted eight each while Turner had five, Taylor recorded three, Roberts tallied two and Tony Harris added one.
Bogalusa plays final game of the Franklinton Tournament after press time Nov. 30.
The Lumberjacks will be back in action Tuesday against Varnado at home.
Mt. Hermon caps off play in the Jewel Sumner Tournament on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2:30 p.m. against Independence. Their next game is Thursday at home against Independence.
None of the games that were recapped above are tournament games.
