Several local basketball teams playing in tournaments this week

Nearly half of the basketball teams from Washington Parish are competing in tournaments early in this upcoming week.
Six teams will be competing Thanksgiving week.
The Bogalusa and Franklinton boys teams are playing in St. Tammany Parish, as the two are competing in the Titans Thanksgiving Basketball Classic 2018 at Lakeshore that takes place No. 19-21.
Bogalusa plays all three days.
The Lumberjacks face Slidell on Monday at 5 p.m. The following day is against Kentwood at 6:30 p.m. Bogalusa’s final game in the tournament is Wednesday at 1 p.m. against Northshore.
Franklinton is playing the first and last day of the event.
Their first game is set for Monday against Northshore at 6:30 p.m. and they finish up Wednesday morning against Slidell at 10 a.m.
In Baton Rouge, Dunham is hosting the Team Sportsplex Thanksgiving Classic on Nov. 19-20.
Mt. Hermon and Pine’s girls and boys are both playing in the event.
The tournament takes place at two locations, The Dunham School on Roy Emerson Drive and the Team Sportsplex, located on Perkins Road.
All of the teams from Washington Parish are playing Monday’s games at the Sportsplex.
Mt. Hermon’s boys are playing at 1 p.m. on Monday against The Church Academy.
Pine’s girls and Mt. Hermon’s boys play at 5:30 p.m.
The Lady Raiders face Dutchtown while Mt. Hermon plays Central Catholic of Morgan City.
Pine’s boys are playing in the next timeslot against Runnels at 7 p.m.
On Tuesday, Pine’s boys are playing at The Dunham School against Family Christian with tip off at 4 p.m.
The rest of the local games are at the Team Sportsplex.
Pine’s girls face Episcopal at 1 p.m.
Pine’s girls and boys both have a game at 7 p.m.
The Lady Raiders are playing St. Michael’s while the boys team is going against Livonia.
The final local game of the tournament features Mt. Hermon’s boys and Family Christian at 8:30 p.m.
In Mississippi, the Brookhaven Academy Thanksgiving Classic is taking place Nov. 19-20.
Bowling Green School’s girls and boys teams are competing.
Both teams play two games.
The two clubs face Brookhaven Academy on Monday.
The girls play at 5:50 p.m. while the boys are competing at 7:10 p.m.
Both teams play in the early time slot the next day, as each faces Oak Forest Academy on Tuesday.
The Lady Buccaneers are playing at 12:30 p.m. and the boys compete at 1:50 p.m.
