Franklinton High School’s Lorenzo Hart

Lorenzo Hart is a senior basketball player for the Franklinton Demons. Hart is a shooting guard for the Demons.
“He’s a great kid, a hard working kid,” Franklinton coach Brad Oestriecher said. “He’s somebody who’s going to be successful in life because he listens, he’s disciplined. He’s just overall a good kid.”

What do you enjoy most about playing your sport?
The encouragement from my teammates and my coaches, like the small things.

What do you like best about being a student athlete?
I just like the environment, like the Franklinton environment.

Who has been the most influential person in your school sports career? Why?
My brother (former Franklinton basketball player) Raisean Hart. I just saw him work so hard during his career, it made me want to do something.

Who is your favorite athlete? Why?
Houston Rockets point-guard James Harden because he does it different. The stuff he does, he can shock a crowd. He’s just creative.

Favorite team?
Houston Rockets.

Best thing about living in Washington Parish?
It’s small. I know the environment and I know the people.
