Mt. Hermon basketball tournament begins Wednesday

Mt. Hermon School is hosting a basketball tournament from Wednesday through next Saturday.
The event features 12 total teams with seven girls teams and five boys teams competing.
Four games take place each day.
Tipoff times are 4 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday through Friday and contests begin noon through 3:45 p.m. on Saturday.
Games are set to start every hour, 15 minutes.
Pine and Loranger will open the tournament on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
Loranger and The Church Academy boys play at 5:15.
Mt. Hermon girls and boys play in the final two games of Wednesday’s contests. The Lady Jackets face the Church Academy while the Yellow Jackets are playing Jewel Sumner.
Day 2 of the tournament opens with the Church Academy girls and boys playing the first two games. The girls game is against Sumner at 4 p.m., followed by their boys team going against Pine.
Like Wednesday’s play, Mt. Hermon’s girls and boys, respectively, are in the final two games against Pine at 6:30 p.m. and Loranger at 7:45 p.m.
Friday’s begins with Loranger girls and boys in the openers.
Their girls play Archbishop Hannan at 4 p.m. and the girls go against Jewel Sumner.
The 6:30 p.m. game is St. Scholastica Academy going against Jewel Sumner in a girls game.
Mt. Hermon and Pine cap off the night with a boys game at 7:45 p.m.
Saturday’s play begins at noon with Loranger and Scholastica Academy facing each other in a girls game.
Archbishop Hannan and Pine’s girls are the 1:15 p.m. game.
At 2:30 p.m., Pine goes against Jewel Sumner and Mt. Hermon’s girls are going against Jewel Sumner at 3:45 p.m. to end the tournament.
There is a chance of minor changes in the schedule depending on results from Pine and Jewel Sumner’s football games that took place last night.
