Mt. Hermon School’s Tristan Brumfield
Mt. Hermon School junior Tristan Brumfield plays basketball and competes in track and field for the Yellow Jackets.
Brumfield is a guard, but Mt. Hermon basketball coach Josh Priola said Brumfield will also see time at other positions.
In track and field, Brumfield long jumps and runs the 4×400 and the 300-meter hurdles.
“He pretty much exemplifies what we’re trying to get this program to be,” Priola said. “Every single time he’s on the court, he’s going 110 percent. This whole summer, he’s been one of the hardest working players. He’s been living in the gym, but he’s also living in the classroom too and that’s pretty much what we want every one of our student athletes to do.”
