“It was great,” race director Suzie Pittman said. “We had a great turnout. The weather held out for the race. It seems like the race grows each year. We were very excited that the youth in our community were so involved this year and the energy they brought to the race was fabulous and it was felt throughout the day.”
Pittman said the race also had a lot of runners from out of town from places like Shreveport, Missouri and Florida.
The sponsors were Out Lady of the Angels Hospital, Riverside Hospital and Bogalusa Heart Study.
Pittman said they had a wonderful race committee that included Kenny Adams, Joyce Adams, Kristal Provost and Kassi Jones.
