Pine went 1-2 and Franklinton went 0-3 in the Pearl River Volleyball Tournament that took place on Saturday, Sept. 22.
Pine lost its first two matches against Salmen and First Baptist Christian School before defeating Franklinton in the final contest.
Matches were best-of-three.
The scores against Salmen were 25-18, 25-14.
Pine’s loss to First Baptist Christian School was 25-16, 25-13.
The Lady Raiders’ victory over Franklinton was 25-19, 25-21.
Franklinton’s losses were to Pearl River, First Baptist Christian School and Pine.
The Pearl River match scores were 25-18, 25-14.
Franklinton’s loss to First Baptist Christian School was 20-25, 25-21, 15-10.
The Lady Demons’ final match was the setback to Pine.
Both teams will be back in action on Monday, Oct. 1.
The Lady Raiders are on the road playing Northlake Christian School, while Franklinton will travel to face Bogalusa.
