Senior citizens who go to the Bogalusa branch of the Washington Parish Council on Aging, are asking for art lessons, according to Council Director Nancy McBeth. She said they would like to be able to provide this service, but need an art volunteer who can give some time for this project.

“I think it will be a fun thing to do,” she said, noting that anyone interested in teaching art would be welcomed. She added that she would attempt to provide items necessary for the lessons.

The office is located at 603 Willis Ave., next to Cassidy Park. Those interested in volunteering should call McBeth or leave a message at 985-732-6869.
