Bowling Green wins 5th straight

Bowling Green’s Lady Buccaneers continued their winning ways with an 8-4 victory over Centreville Academy on the road Tuesday.
It was the Lady Buccaneers’ fifth-consecutive win.
One night after her two-run homer that broke a tie against Silliman, Cassidy Spears drove in three more runs and she recorded a hit.
Landry Dupont tallied a hit in her only official at-bat. Dupont tripled, drove in a run and walked three times.
Morgan Lusk posted two hits.
Breanna Tobey, Madelyn Burch and Kylee Burris all had one hit.
Tobey and Burch drove in a run each.
Burris was the winning pitcher.
Bowling Green will be back in action on Saturday in the Silliman Institute Tournament.
