Lady Bucs defeat Amite School Center

Five Bowling Green School players recorded at least two hits in an 11-6 victory over Amite School Center in a game held Thursday at home.
Madelyn Burch had a big night, going 3-for-3, and she drove in four runs. She also pitched three no-hit shutout innings in relief and struck out four.
Kylee Burris tallied two hits and she drove in two runs off of a two-run homer.
Morgan Lusk went 3-for-4 with an RBI.
Landry Dupont and Cassidy Spears both went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs. Spears was the winning pitcher.
Bowling Green will compete in the Amite School Center Tournament on Saturday, Aug. 11.
The Lady Bucs are at home, facing Silliman Institute on Monday before heading to Centreville Academy on Tuesday and capping off the week by playing in the Silliman Institute Tournament on Aug. 18.
