Bowling Green comes up short to 3-time champ

Bowling Green School came up short to three-time Class AAA champion Silliman Institute, 7-5, in a road game held Monday.
Breanna Tobey and Morgan Lusk hit a solo home run each. Tobey scored two runs for the Lady Buccaneers.
Cassidy Spears posted two hits and drove in a run.
Madelyn Burch tallied a hit and one run batted in.
Anna Beninato recorded a hit and she scored a run.
Landry Dupont had a run scored for Bowling Green.
Over the weekend, the Lady Buccaneers posted a 1-1-1 record in the Columbia Academy Tournament.
Bowling Green defeated Tri-County County, 4-2, tied Newton County Academy, 3-3 and lost to Brookhaven Academy, 3-0.
