USM Camps

University of Southern Mississippi’s baseball program will hold one more camp this summer — the third annual Father-Son Camp.

The Father/Son camp is open to kindergarten through eighth graders and will provide an outstanding bonding opportunity for the parent and child while also learning the game of baseball and developing an understanding of key fundamentals in maximizing their child’s full potential. Teaching areas will include pitching, hitting, catching, infield and outfield play. The goal of this one-day camp is to provide answers and training solutions to the questions that are most often asked by today’s fathers and youth league players. The camp takes place Aug. 25 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with check-in at 12:15 p.m. The cost is $100 for both child and parent and an additional $25 for each additional child. The fee includes a free t-shirt for all campers.

For any questions or advanced information, contact Southern Miss assistant coach B.A. Vollmuth at 601-266-6542 or email Bryan.Vollmuth@eagles.usm.edu.
