Bogalusa holds 2018 baseball awards banquet

On Wednesday, May 16, Bogalusa High School baseball coach Michael Cummings presented awards at the team’s annual banquet sponsored and hosted by ESM United Methodist Church at its Family Life Center. Team members were joined by their families to recognize the seniors on the team and to hear coach Cummings’ inspiring comments as he presented the following awards:
• First Team All-District — Charles Allen and Chas Smith.
• Second Team All-District — Marlon Myles.
• Second Team All-District for third base — Jay Baham.
• Honorable Mention All-District — Kam Bickham and Joemon Roberts.
• Silver Slugger Award — Marlon Myles.
• Gold Glove Award — Joemon Roberts.
• Team MVP — Jay Baham.
• Alan Byrd Award — Pasquale Larvorgna.
• Most Improved — Joseph Ikerd.
