Bogalusa was victorious in both of its games and Franklinton split its contests in the Lakeshore/Mandeville Summer League at Mandeville High School on Thursday.
Bogalusa topped Bay High, 38-36, in the first game.
Lumberjacks coach Randall Ginn said it was a great win over a good program.
The second victory was a 58-48 win over PCA.
Ginn said that PCA had a couple of good players, but noted that his team played poorly.
The Demons defeated Springfield, 67-34, before falling to Brother Martin, 56-37.
Franklinton coach Brad Oestriecher said the team had only seven players and that they played extremely hard. He said he is very proud of his team.
The teams played a pair of 20-minute halves with a running clock until the 1-minute mark of each half, when the standard clock operating rules went into affect. Players were awarded one free throw on all shooting fouls, which was worth the number of points the shot was worth.
Bogalusa and Franklinton continued play in the league yesterday and both play tomorrow. Bogalusa faces Springfield and Fontainebleau in back-to-back games with tip times at 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., respectively at Lakeshore.
Franklinton is facing Mandeville and Brother Martin at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. with both contests at Mandeville.
