BHS’s Thompson finishes 4th in state

Bogalusa’s Clydeterrious Thompson’s Class 3A state meet performance was a solid one at LSU’s Bernie Moore Stadium on Saturday.
The sophomore ran the 400 meters in 50.37 seconds, finishing in fourth place. West Feliciana’s Derius Davis won the event in 47.76.
The top three finishers from each event reach the podium. Thompson missed hitting the podium by just 0.8 seconds.
Thompson improved his time from last year by 1.58 seconds.
He reached state in this event last year and came in fifth with a time of 51.95.
