Franklinton’s Demons lost to Salmen, 4-3, in a District 8-4A contest that took place on the road Saturday.
Trent Varnado went 2-for-3 with two doubles for Franklinton.
Jordan McKenzie recorded a single and an RBI.
Franklinton’s runs were scored by Varnado, Nate Bracey and Jared Jenkins.
Salmen took a 2-0 lead after one inning, but the Demons posted three runs in the second to take a 3-2 lead.
Salmen tied the game in the fourth and scored the winning run in the sixth.
