Franklinton captured a 4-3 victory over St. Scholastica Academy in District 8-4A play at home Tuesday.
Ashlyn Ard and Bailey Brooks posted two hits each.
Ard scored two runs and Brooks doubled and drove in a pair of runs.
Brylie Fowler, Missouri Varnado and Ashlyn Welch all had one hit.
Varnado doubled and Welch tallied a run.
Bailey Spears scored a run for the Lady Demons.
Franklinton overcame six errors in the victory.
The Lady Demons trailed 2-1 after four, but scored two in the fifth and added an insurance run in the sixth to go up, 4-2.
St. Scholastica posted a run in the seventh, but the Lady Demons were victorious, 4-3.
Winning pitcher Aleigha Fussell threw a complete game, allowing one earned run on four hits with six strikeouts and two walks.
In a rare note, it was the third consecutive 4-3 win for Franklinton.
