Franklinton won two of its three games in the Live Oak Tournament that took place Friday and Saturday.
The Lady Demons lost their game on Friday to East Ascension, 14-3.
East Ascension scored six runs in the fourth and four in the seventh to account for 10 of its runs.
Ashlyn Ard and Missouri Varnado both went 2-for-3 with a run scored for Franklinton.
Ard drove in a run and Varnado doubled.
Bailey Spears, Brylie Fowler, Keirsten Allen and Laynea Stafford all had one hit.
Fowler scored a run and Allen drove home a run.
Franklinton played two games on Saturday and won each game, 4-3.
The first 4-3 victory was over Mamou.
Franklinton scored three runs in the sixth to erase a 3-1 deficit.
Ard tallied half of the Lady Demons’ six hits and she scored two runs.
Fowler posted two hits with an RBI and a run scored.
Allen posted one hit with two runs batted in and a run scored. Winning pitcher Aleigha Fussell allowed two earned runs on five hits with four strikeouts and two walks in a complete-game performance.
The next 4-3 win was against West Feliciana.
Sadie Stafford posted three hits for the Lady Demons.
Ard and Bailey Brooks had two each.
Ard drove in a run. Brooks doubled, posted two RBIs and scored two runs.
Fowler, Varnado, Allen, Spears, Sydney Wills and Fussell all had one hit.
Allen tripled and scored. Spears tallied a run. Wills had an RBI for the Lady Demons.
Fussell pitched a complete game two-hitter and did not allow an earned run. Fussell struck out five and walked three.
Franklinton committed five errors.
