Treasures, Buccanettes successful at competition

The Treasures and Buccanettes from Bowling Green School had a great weekend of dance competition at the American All-Star Mardi Gras Classic at Chalmette High School last Saturday. Both teams placed in every performance.
The Buccanettes’ Abby Stogner won first place in solo.
The team was tops in team kick and second place for team pom and team jazz.
The Treasures’ Kylie Magee captured first place in solo.
Julia Knight and Addison Taylor recorded a second-place finish for duet. Taylor Jarrell, Magee and Caroline Wagner combined on a second-place trio.
The team won first place for team jazz, second for team kick and third in team pom.
Both teams were awarded in technique awards.
