Franklinton wins against Mt. Hermon
Franklinton’s Bailey Spears and Ashlyn Ard posted three runs batted in and Ashlen Welch had three hits, an RBI and three runs scored during a 13-3 win over Mt. Hermon on the road Thursday.
Spears and Ard both had a hit and a run scored.
One of Welch’s three hits was a double.
Brylie Fowler, Kiersten Allen and Laynea Stafford all posted two hits. Fowler tallied three runs, Allen drove in a run and Stafford scored two runs.
Missouri Varnado singled and had two RBIs.
Sydney Wills tallied a hit, a run batted in and a run scored.
Kayla Barclay and Bailey Brooks scored a run each.
Aseigha Fussell allowed one hit over two shutout innings with four strikeouts. Spears gave up three unearned runs on four hits with a strikeout. Franklinton committed three errors.
Mt. Hermon recorded five hits. Kayleigh Hughes led the way with two hits and a run scored.
Tiffany Blades, Alexis Alford and Raygen Hart all had one hit. Alford scored a run for Mt. Hermon.
Khristian Schexnider tallied a run and Alyssa Barber drove in a run.

Pine defeats Varnado
Pine’s Elizabeth Barber drove in five runs in a 17-0 three-inning victory over Varnado at home Thursday.
Savannah Kennedy posted three runs batted in and Sydney Thomas recorded two RBIs.
Alyssa Phelps struck out eight for the Lady Raiders.
