Pine victorious over Salmen
Pine’s Cassidy Ashe hit a grand slam during a three-hit day, Kiyasha Clark hit a two-run home run, and Morgan Clark homered and tallied three hits in a 17-9 victory over Salmen to begin the season on the road Tuesday.
Grace posted two RBIs.
Savannah Kennedy tallied two hits and an RBI while Sydney Thomas recorded a hit and two RBIs, Erin Kennedy and Elizabeth Barber had two hits and a run batted in each and Makia Clark and Kelsey Jenkins posted one hit each.
Ashe struck out one over two innings and Alyssa Phelps had two strikeouts in four innings.

Franklinton falls to Doyle
Franklinton’s Lady Demons suffered a 13-0 loss to Doyle in the season opener on the road Tuesday.
The Lady Demons were limited to one hit, which was a single by Sydney Wills.
