Mt. Hermon’s Lady Jackets lost their bi-district round playoff game to Glenmora, 57-28, in the Class B state playoffs on the road Thursday.
Macey Applegate led the Lady Jackets with 10 points.
Kalei Hughes recorded eight points while Keashia Banks posted six and Destiny Lewis and Ashiriah Williams added two each for Mt. Hermon.
Mt. Hermon had one senior this year in Patera Williams.
“She always gave 100 percent on the floor,” Mt. Hermon coach Jeff Thomas said. “As with a lot of players, if it’s not their best offensive night, they use their defense to kind of compensate for that by creating turnovers, steals and creating offense for other players and she did that.”
The 23rd-seeded Lady Jackets concluded the season with a 7-13 record.
No. 10 Glenmora, which is 18-13, advanced to face seventh-seeded Florien in the regional round. Florien, which has a 24-13 record, defeated No. 26 Bell City (6-25), 65-16, in the opening round.
