Franklinton’s Lady Demons suffered a 70-41 loss to Minden in the Class 4A state playoffs’ bi-district round on the road Thursday.
No. 26 Franklinton finished the season with a 19-12 record.
Seventh-seeded Minden, which has a 30-4 mark, advanced to the regional round to face No. 10 Huntington.
Huntington, which is 20-11, was victorious over 23rd-seeded Lake Area New Tech (24-9), 60-33.
