Pine’s Lady Raiders were defeated by defending Division III state champion and the Division III’s top team in the unofficial LHSAA power rankings Northlake Christian School, 39-32, in the opener of the District 9-2A Tournament on Tuesday at Amite.
Savannah Kennedy led Pine with eight points.
Elizabeth Barber posted five points while Kelsey Jenkins, McKayla Jordan and Kiyasha Clark all had four, Alyssa Phelps and Kalli Tullier posted three each and Raina Crosby added one. Barber hit a 3-pointer.
